Manufacturing Division campaigns include:
SUPPORTING QUALITY – This consumer campaign is aimed at protecting jobs in Ireland and supporting quality Irish products. Supporting Quality encourages consumers to consider the wider economic and social impact of their shopping choices. The campaign promotes quality Irish made products produced by workers organised by participating trade unions.
WORKPLACE INNOVATION – This campaign is run in conjunction with the IDEAs institute. It aims to improve workplace performance and to stimulate positive organisational change through inclusive dialogue between employees and management. This union-led initiative is a pragmatic response required to strengthen, and grow, the Irish manufacturing sector.

A Works Council brings together worker representatives from the various states where the business operates. The SIPTU Manufacturing Division is committed to the development of Works Councils and training our members to participate in them.
