Protest outside the head office of D2 Private, Harcourt Terrace, Dublin 2, Friday 19th June at 12.00 p.m. D2 Private is a part owner of Natrium, the consortium that bought Clerys on Friday (12th June). Following the purchase of the store, in the early hours of the morning, Natrium immediately moved to liquate the company without discussions with its workers and without making plans for the payment of their outstanding wages or redundancy entitlements.The protest outside the head office of D2 Private will mark one week since the Natrium take-over of Clerys. At the protest the workers will highlight their demand for a meeting with the store’s new owners to discuss the purchase and subsequent application to the Courts to put the company into liquidation and the consequences of these actions.
