On International Domestic Workers' Day, (Sunday, 16th June) at 3.00 p.m. domestic workers will protest outside the UAE Embassy, Pembroke Road, Dublin 4 in solidarity with two domestic workers formerly employed by the Ambassador. Visuals include:30 domestic workers in aprons with placards and banners, protesting the Embassy’s decision to invoke diplomatic immunity in an employment rights complaint and urging Minister for Foreign Affairs Eamon Gilmore to protect domestic workers in embassies in Ireland.
