Talks under the Local Bargaining clause allowed for under the Public Service Agreement (PSA) 2024 – 2026 are set to commence in the coming weeks.
Members will recall that the PSA provides for a 3% payment under a Local Bargaining clause of which the first instalment of 1% falls for payment on 1st September 2025. The remaining 2% is due to be considered within the next phase of national pay talks negotiations in 2026. Agreements reached under this provision of the PSA will be published by the relevant sectors.
It is expected that grades represented by SIPTU’s Health Division will be encompassed within a single local bargaining unit.
