A two-year pay agreement has been accepted in a ballot by members employed Westland Horticulture, based in County Offaly, and previously traded as Erin Peats.

The pay proposal, which was secured following negotiations at the Workplace Relations Commission comprises:

4% increase in pay backdated to 1st January 2024

3% increase in pay from the 1st January 2025 plus either (a) the value of 1% of basic pay in a tax-free voucher on the 1st June 2025 or (b) the company to pay an extra 1.5% extra contribution into the pension scheme from the 1st January 2025 and every year thereafter.

Each member can decide individually whether they take option (a) or (b).
