SIPTU continues to win for its members with a large number of pay deals concluded in 2024 across the Manufacturing Division.
Some of the notable deals are as follows:
Laboratory Analysts secured a three-year deal which provides for a basic pay rise of 15.75% backdated to 1st January 2024 to 31st December 2026.
The increases will be made as follows 1st January 2024, an increase of 8.25%, 1st January 2025 –- 4%, 1st January 2026 – 3.5%.
Bulmers Clonmel
A one-year (12-month) agreement for a 4% increase in pay, effective from the 1st of March 2024, plus a tax efficient voucher to the value of €800 paid in December 2024.
Shannon Vale Foods
Twelve month pay agreement backdated to 1st January 2024 inclusive of a 6% pay increase and enhancement to Christmas bonus of €400 voucher for any employee with 12 months service.
€150 voucher for any employee with more than three months and less than 12 months service. €100 voucher for any employee with less than three months’ service.
Etex·
Twelve month deal including an increase in pay of 3.8% backdated to 1st January 2024 and an increase in the Christmas voucher from €80 to €300.
Becton Dickinson & Co Ltd
Twelve-month deal with a pay increase of 3.5% backdated to 1st February 2024.
PepsiCo – Food Flavours Plant
Pay agreement covering 25 months with the following increases 4.75% backdated to 1st November 2023, 4.75% on 31st October 2024 and a final 4.75% on 30th November 2025
Beckman Coulter
Three-year pay deal – 10.5% pay rise in total with a 4% increase effective on 1st April 2024, a 3.5% increase effective on 1st April 2025 and a 3% increase effective 1st April 2026.
Boxmore Plastics
Pay deal covering 12 months inclusive of a 4.8% pay rise, €300 voucher, increase to service pay and new first aider rates.
