SIPTU representatives have agreed to attend a conciliation meeting at the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) regarding the dispute at Edenderry Power Ltd (EPL), Edenderry, County Offaly, which concerns collective bargaining rights at the power generation plant. SIPTU Organiser, John Regan, said: “In order to facilitate a WRC meeting on Monday (24th April) at 10.30 a.m., SIPTU members at the Bord na Móna subsidiary have suspended a 24-hour work stoppage which was scheduled to begin at 7.30 a.m. this morning (Thursday, 20th April).”
