Any change of ownership is a cause of concern and uncertainty for employees. In this regard, we are keen to secure clarity for them at the earliest opportunity. “We are seeking a meeting with the management of News UK & Ireland Ltd. At this meeting we will impress on the prospective new owners that that it must commit to the continuation of all current agreements governing employment practices at the plant.” The Kells plant prints a number of publications including The Sun, The Sunday Times, The Daily Mail, The i and The Financial Times.
