The Cork Council of Trade Unions in conjunction with SIPTU, Cork City Council and St. Vincent’s Hurling & Football Club are hosting an Official Road naming ceremony for former ITGWU Cork Branch Secretary Tadhg Barry on Saturday, 5th October at 12.30 p.m. Lord Mayor, Catherine Clancy, will conduct the official road naming ceremony at the Apple Computers building. Following the ceremony refreshments will be served at the St. Vincent’s H & F Club along with a screening of the trade union documentary Tadhg Barry Remembered.
