TUS is seeking to recruit a Network Manager to assist us on delivering our training programme for 2016. The Network Manager will report to the TUS Steering Committee, made up of training representatives of participating trade unions, and will be supported in their work by an administrative assistant and the Finance Office of Congress. The TUS Skillnet has been in existence for 4 years and has well-developed and systematic processes in place. The key responsibilities and duties of the position include: Representing TUS in its dealings with Skillnets Ltd. and participating in relevant networking events Overseeing the production of a training needs analysis for the network Ensuring delivery of the agreed training programme and designing and developing new programmes as required Overseeing the tendering process for trainers and liaising with training providers as necessary Promotion of the TUS Skillnet and its training programme, including updating of TUS and Skillnets websites, and ensuring good relations with trade unions and participating employers Monitoring and managing the achievement of network targets Preparing regular activity and financial progress reports for the Steering Committee of TUS Oversee the collection of training and trainee data and their submission to Skillnets Ensuring that year-end processes are managed efficiently including training programme close-down and audit Prepare application for new programmes in conjunction with the Steering Committee.
