A new two-year pay deal of up to 13% has been secured for SIPTU members employed by the timber products manufacturer Glennon Brothers based in Fermoy, county Cork.
The deal also includes a new grading structure with a worker’s level of skills placed in three categories. The pay increases for workers will correspond to the grades they are placed in depending on what grade a worker comes under.
Backdated to 2024, workers will receive a pay rise of 3%, 7.7% or 10% depending on their grading. On 1st January 2025, all workers will receive a further 3% pay increase. A payment of an annual Christmas Bonus voucher of €100 will remain in place.
