Following overnight talks between union representatives and the management of Dublin Bus, that ended at 5.00 a.m. on Thursday, 8th August, a new set of Labour Court proposals on cost saving measures at the company have been formulated. When the final draft of these proposals is available a meeting of the SIPTU Dublin Bus Committee will be convened to discuss them. The Committee will then decide if the proposals should be put to a vote of SIPTU members in Dublin Bus. Following such a decision balloting arrangements will be announced. During this consultation period Dublin Bus workers will continue their duties providing an efficient transport service for the people of Dublin.
